Ipe Decking has a rich brown color with beautiful grain characteristics. Also known as Brazilian Walnut, an Ipe deck will gradually age to a lustrous silver-grey if left untreated. It can be oiled or stained to retain its rich brown color. Ipe is  the best known decking material available for the tropics with an average live expectancy of more than 40 years.

Ipe Decking is available in sizes 1x3, 1x4 through 2x2 balusters, and 4x4 posts for railings.

Ipe has a Janka hardness of 3,060 lbs. In comparison White Oak has a hardness of 1,360 lbs!
